Camilla Li Ching Hang received her Master of Performance at the Royal College of Music (RCM) and Bachelor of Music from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) under the tutorship of renowned pianists and educators Julian Jacobson and Eleanor Wong Yee Lun. She started playing the piano at the age of five and joined the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts as a junior student at the age of nine, majored in piano under the tutelage of Ms. Katherine Huang.



Camilla is an RCM scholar supported by the Croucher Foundation Hong Kong Award and she received the Tom Lee Music Scholarship and Parsons Music Scholarship at the HKAPA. She has performed in various locations including London, Hamburg, Salzburg and Hong Kong. She is the founding member of the ‘Papillon Duo’ and has performed with German cellist Laura Moinian in Regents Hall, Steinway Hall, the Parry Rooms and Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall in London. She was the first-prize winner in the Piano Concerto Competition and the Composer of the Year Award in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival and in the Asia Youth Piano Competition. She has participated in many prestigious international music festivals and masterclasses such as the Mozarteum International Summer Academy in Austria, the Cadenza International School for Strings and Piano, and was given a full scholarship to join the Dartington International Summer School, studying with well-known pianists Julian Jacobson, Stephen Kovacevich, Sergio Perticaroli, Fali Pavri, Thomas Hecht and Cellists Alexander Baillie, Louise Hopkins, Melissa Phelps, Pierre Doumenge, Konstantin Heidrich and Johannes Goritzki.
